Nissan has launched the new Magnite with updated features and it is available at an introductory price starting from Rs 5.99 lakh. The Magnite has the same engine options of 1-litre naturally aspirated and 1-litre turbo petrol engine. The SUV is available in six variants, and for the first time the Japanese manufacturer confirmed that there will be an export of left-hand drive Magnite. The facelift comes with a special introductory price is available only to the first 10,000 purchasers.
Design Tweaks
Nissan has added a touch of preniumness to the Magnite which looks aggressive and bold. The front grille looks impressive that comes with new thick chrome inserts and a chunky silver-coloured bumper. The SUV retains its well cut out LED headlights, DRLs and fog lamps. It’s gets a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels and additional silver cladding on the lower part of the doors but the rear remains the same with its clean design along with silver finish bumpers along with redesigned LED tail lamps.
Safety Features includes Six airbags along with the most sought-after feature like Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). There are few design tweaks been done. The bumper is redesigned, has more prominent grille for a sportier look. Boomerang-shaped DRLs and bi-functional LED projector headlights. It has a redesigned 16-inch alloy wheels and reworked tail lamps with a smoked finish.
The Interiors and Exteriors
The Magnite gets lively Sunrise Copper Orange finish interiors and the Lamborghini-inspired hexagonal air condition vents adds a touch of style. The design of the dashboard remains the same and steering wheel is made in all black colour.
The 2024 version gets some add-ons like a brand key, a switch on the AC before stepping inside the cabin, soft-touch leatherette dashboard and door panels, Type-C charging ports, cabin air purifier and a 360-degree camera and 6 airbags that comes as standard.
Engine specifications
The 2024 Magnite retains the 1-litre that churns out 71 bhp and 96 Nm NA petrol engine and the 1-litre 99bhp turbo petrol engine with 160 Nm of torque. The car is paired with a 5-speed manual or AMT while the latter has a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic. The Magnite is in direct competition with the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra 3XO and Maruti Fronx.
