Bond 007 Edition Triumph Motorcycles To Be Auctioned

Triumph Motorcycles joined hands with Hollywood actor Daniel Craig, for charity which is going to be directed for a noble cause. Triumph has auctioned two limited Bond Edition motorcycles in charity gathering a whopping sum of approx. Rs 65.40 lakh.

The motorcycles were auctioned to support the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) who are celebrating their 200th anniversary in 2024. Out of the two limited edition bikes auctioned, one was a personal possession of Craig.

One is a  #003/250 Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition and the other is a #001/250 Tiger 900 Bond Edition. Both bikes are signed by Craig and for the uninitiated, Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) is the charity that saves lives at sea. Volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour rescue service in the UK and Ireland and their seasonal lifeguards patrol busy beaches. RNLI crews and lifeguards have saved over 146,000 lives since 1824.

The two limited Bond Edition models will be sold to the winners through Bonhams Motorcycles at the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show on 12th and 13th October 2024 in Staffordshire (UK). Both bikes have been hand signed by Daniel Craig. Besides, each winner also gets an exclusive opportunity for a riding experience at the Triumph Adventure Experience in Wales, UK with James Bond stunt coordinator Lee Morrison and stunt double Paul Edmondson.

Both motorcycles will be sold with the original V5C documents bearing Daniel Craig’s name, as well as a certificate of authenticity signed by both Craig and Triumph Motorcycles’ CEO, Nick Bloor. Moreover, both bikes have been used while filming the 26th Bond film No Time To Die which was released in 2021. The Scrambler Bond Edition is powered by 1200cc, liquid-cooled, 12-valve, SOHC engine which churns out 88 bhp of power and 110 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the Tiger Bond Edition is powered by 888cc liquid-cooled, 8-valve, SOHC engine that churns out 94 bhp and 87 Nm of peak torque. Both limited edition models were restricted to 250 units each and are available with a 6-speed gearbox.
