The waiting period for the top-spec XUV700 AX7 and AX7 L variants has risen to a little over 2 months, up from about 1.5 months recently. Meanwhile, buyers will have to wait approximately for 1 month for the delivery of all other variants, including the entry-level MX and the mid-spec AX3, AX5, and AX5 Select variants.

There are few key USPs that keeps the demand of the SUV high because of its distinct Chetah Design, Muscled front, Luxury features, Strong road presence and is taller than Creta and Grand Vitara.

The popularity of the Mahindra XUV700 is on the rise, and despite Mahindra having increased production of the SUV, which comes in 5-seater, 6-seater, and 7-seater forms, dealerships are quoting longer wait times for select variants. Looks like the demand will continue to roar for the next few years.

The Mahindra XUV700 variants are equipped with ESP and host of other features that continue to lure customers creating longer waiting period.

Similarly, Most of the Mahindra XUV 3X0 variants have a waiting period and some of them will need you to wait for almost a year. Being a feature-loaded sub-compact SUV, most customers would select something from the mid-variant upwards. However, base variants are also good sellers for carmakers and if you are choosing the base Mahindra XUV 3X0 MX1 variant, the wait time is almost a year.

Other variants, such as the MX2, MX2 Pro, MX3, and MX3 Pro petrol versions take about seven to eight months before reaching any customer, while the same variants in diesel take only a month. Clearly petrol variants are becoming more popular. The AX5 petrol variant takes 8 months, while the AX5 L, AX7, and AX7 L take around three months. The diesel variants of the same demand one month waiting period.

It is unimaginable how Mahindra has become everyone’s favourite as there is a waiting period which can  go up to a year. However, this is a pain for customers wanting to buy the new Mahindra XUV 3X0 or the Mahindra XUV700 since the waiting period can go up to from 2 months to 2 year!
