Mahindra has introduced a special Boss Edition of the Scorpio Classic for the festive season which is essentially an accessory pack with a few visual changes to the interior and exterior over the standard model. The chrome embellishments on the outside, including the front grille and fog lamp housing, have been darkened, while the bonnet scoop, rear quarter glass, headlamps and tail-lamps also get a dark chrome applique. The special edition also gets rain visors, a front skid plate, a rear guard with black powder coating and a rear-view camera. The wing mirror caps feature a faux carbon-fibre finish.
The interior speaks volumes about its class as the Boss Edition adds black seat upholstery as well as a Comfort Kit that brings in cushions and neck pillows. The Scorpio Classic is powered by a sole 2.2-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine producing 132hp of power and 300Nm of peak torque. The power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Scorpio Classic has no direct rivals in India as of now, but it serves as a rugged 7-seater alternative to midsize SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and others and the prices are yet to be revealed.

There are exclusive exterior upgrades like the Dark chrome grille, blacked-out headlamps, fog lights, door handles, and more for a premium look with ample Interior Comfort like Black seat upholstery, neck cushions, and pillows that are included in the Comfort Kit. The Boss Edition has premium add-ons like Faux carbon-fibre ORVMs, rain visors, front bumper extender, silver skid plate, rear guard with black powder coating. This special edition is loaded with tech & features like the 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a rear-view camera for added convenience. This SUV boasts of Powerful Performance powered by 2.2L mHawk diesel engine, churning 130 bhp of power, 300 NM torque, 6-speed manual gearbox with rear-wheel drive.
