Maruti Suzuki Baleno has been very popular since its launch due to its great pricing at the time due to its low maintenance and no-fuss drive features. It is a hatchback, but that has hardly affected its popularity despite growing following for the compact and bug SUV body type. Over a million and a half units of Baleno have been sold in the past nine years, and the model has a 55 percent share in Nexa’s sales volumes, which is testimony to its popularity.
