Setback For Hotels & Eateries: Significant Hike In Commercial LPG Cylinder Prices
New Delhi: Effective from April 1, the prices of commercial LPG cylinders have been revised, witnessing a significant increase across key cities amid the ongoing fuel crisis due to the conflict in West Asia.
In the capital city, Delhi, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been increased to Rs 2,078.50, marking a rise of Rs 195.50. The 5 kg FT cylinder is now priced at Rs 549 per refill, reflecting an increase of Rs 51, Economic Times reported citing sources.

The price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has gone up by Rs 218 in Kolkata. However, the domestic cooking gas LPG rates, which was increased last month, has remained the same
The price hikes are believed to be due to crude oil price shortage and rising logistics costs in the backdrop of geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
