Washington DC, United Arab Emirates: Whitehouse Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Monday, March 30 told reporters that US president Donald Trump is quite interested in calling Arab countries to pay for the cost of ongoing war with Iran.

Karoline Leavitt was replying when she was asked whether Arab states should pay for the war, as when US allies helped fund Washington’s intervention during the Gulf War in 1990.

The press secretary said it is an idea that she know that the president Trump has and something that she think the people would hear more from him on.

Regarding the talks with Iran, Leavitt said that the negotiations are on going and making progress. “Talks are continuing and going well. What is said publicly is much different than what’s being communicated to us privately,” the Whitehouse representative said, adding that some of Washington’s points have been accepted in private discussions.
