OYO Offers Up to 60% Discounts for Indians in Thailand Hotels

OYO, a hospitality technology company, has announced a lucrative offer for Indians traveling to Thailand: up to 60% off at OYO hotels in the country. OYO has over 170 hotels in Thailand, including budget and premium properties, in popular locations such as Pattaya, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Krabi, Bangkok, Rayong, and Chonburi.

The discount scheme is valid from October 11 to October 31, 2023. To avail the discount, travelers can log in to the OYO app or website, choose an eligible property, and select the coupon code OYOSPLDEAL during booking.

OYO recently rolled out Super OYO hotels in Thailand, which offer features such as spacious rooms, consistent operations, and smooth check-in experiences. OYO has already added 13 Super OYO hotels in cities such as Bangkok, Chon Buri, Chiang Mai, and Pattaya. These hotels were selected based on their performance in terms of multiple parameters, such as customer ratings and reviews.

Thailand recently announced that it is gearing up to ease visa rules for Indians, making the country more accessible to Indian travelers.

Describing the scheme, Daniel Khoo, Country Head, OYO Thailand, said, “We understand that affordability is a crucial factor when planning a trip, and this initiative is our way of showing our gratitude to the Indian community for choosing OYO as their preferred holiday destination.”

According to data released by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, India was the second-largest source of tourists to Thailand in 2022, after Malaysia. Almost a million Indian tourists visited Thailand out of a total of 11 million overseas travelers. A report by Thomas Cook in 2021 also highlighted that Thailand is among the top three most desired destinations among Indians, along with the UAE (Dubai and Abu Dhabi) and the Maldives.
