BSEB Matric Exam 2025 Held Amid Special Arrangements; Over 15 Lakh Students Appeared

The Bihar Board has started the class 10 board examinations from today, February 17. The BSEB examination was held in two shifts: 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and 2 pm to 5:15 pm, with a total of 15.85 lakh students at 1,677 examination centers in the state.

To prevent cheating in exams, the board has made special arrangements, including closing the main gate of the examination centers half an hour before the exam, arranging CCTV and videography at examination centers, a ban on entry of any unauthorized person, and barring the center superintendent, not another officer, teacher/worker and police force will be allowed to enter the examination center with a mobile phone.

The BSEB has also imposed Section 144 within a radius of 200 meters of the exam centers with no unauthorized person other than the candidates allowed to enter the examination centre.

However, some visuals came on the first day of the examination where some girls were seen crossing the school walls for not allowing them to enter the school premises after getting late. Reportdly, some stuents were admitted to hospital after being denied entry to the schools after getting late. The administration has given strict guidelines regarding the board examination to be held in fair manner this year to avoid cheating and other malpractices in the exams.

Notably, a total of 7,67,746 boys and 8,18,122 girls appeared for the Bihar Board Exam 2025.
