
CBSE Board Exams 2025 Begin Smoothly Across India and Abroad
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) successfully commenced its board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 on Saturday, with students appearing for the Class 10 English and Class 12 Entrepreneurship exams. The exams were conducted across multiple centres in India and 26 countries.
Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, CBSE’s Controller of Examinations, confirmed that the exams were organised smoothly. “The Class 10 exam was held at 7,780 centres with over 23.86 lakh students, while the Class 12 exam took place at 995 centres with around 23,000 students,” he said. He also expressed hope that all students attended their exams with enthusiasm in a positive environment.
A total of over 42 lakh students from more than 30,000 schools are set to appear for the CBSE board exams this year. To ensure fairness, strict security measures and guidelines have been implemented at 7,842 exam centres globally.
A day before the exams, CBSE conducted a live webcast attended by school principals from Delhi NCR. The session, chaired by CBSE Chairman Rahul Singh and led by Dr. Bhardwaj, focused on exam protocols and student well-being.
