
Students Find Class 10 Mathematics Basic, Standard Exam Moderate To Difficult
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the class 10 board exam today, March 10, 2025, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The Mathematics exam was held in two categories – Basic and Standard. Students who want to pursue arts and humanities subjects mostly chose ‘basic’ mathematics, and students who want to select the science stream chose ‘standard’ mathematics. Timeline reached the students of some government schools in Delhi and talked about the mathematics exam held today.
Majority of the students found both Basic and Standard moderate. Some students who opted the Standard exam found it as easier in comparision to the pre-boards. However, some girls students who opted the Basic mathematics told that they found exam tough, despite attempting all the questions.

Out of total 38 questions most of the students attempted all of them. However, some students opted from 24 to 30 questions.
One student told that he skipped questions from the chapters which were not prepared well and attempted rest of the questions.
Another girl student who opted for the standard mathematics seemed confident and attempted all of the questions. “Question paper was good and the level of the exam was moderate. I attempted all of the questions”, she told.
