New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a strong warning against false claims of exam paper leaks circulating on social media. The board, which began conducting Class X and XII examinations on February 15, has assured that stringent measures are in place to maintain fairness and security.

CBSE said that it has identified misinformation spreading across platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter), with some individuals falsely claiming access to 2025 examination papers.

The board has categorically denied these allegations, stating that such rumours are meant to create unnecessary panic among students and parents.

In response, CBSE has intensified monitoring efforts and is working closely with law enforcement agencies to track down those responsible for spreading false information. Students found engaging in such activities will face strict action under CBSE’s UNFAIR MEANS rules and relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The board has urged parents to guide their children against believing or sharing unverified news, which disrupts the examination process. CBSE has also reminded all stakeholders—students, parents, and schools—to rely solely on official updates available on its website (www.cbse.gov.in) and verified public channels.
