CBSE Class 12th Supplementary Examination 2024 Result: Pass Percentage, Result In DigiLocker And Other Details

CBSE has announced the result of Supplementary Examinations 2024 for class 12th. Students can check their results through the official website. The supplementary result for the session 2023-24 was announced at 2 PM today, August 2, 2024. The supplementary examinations of all the subjects of class XII were conducted on 15th July 2024 across the nation and in 26 countries abroad.

Girls have done better than Boys by securing a pass percentage of 33.47% whereas boys overall percentage remained at 27.90%. The transgender students gave an exemplary performance with a 100 percent pass percentage. In foreign schools, the pass percentage remained 36.99%.

CBSE has conducted Supplementary Examinations, 2024 for the students placed in the following categories: –

  1. Students who were placed in the Compartment Category due to the reason that they were unable to secure qualifying marks in 01 subject out of 05 mandatory subjects.
  2. The students with 06 subjects who were declared passed by replacing the main subjects from the additional subjects due to the reason that they were unable to secure qualifying marks in 01 of the main subjects.
  3. The students who were declared pass but wish to improve their performance. Earlier students were allowed to improve their performance only next year during the main examination.

Main Highlights

  • CBSE has declared the result within a fortnight by working in such a manner to avoid inconvenience to the above-mentioned categories of candidates so that their admission in the higher/professional courses could be considered based on their performances in supplementary examinations.
  • The mark sheet cum passing certificate wil be sent in the following manner:-
  • (a) Regular students wil be provided through their schools
  • (b) Private candidates from Delhi- their mark sheet cum passing certificate wil be supplied to their examination centre, and for Private candidates outside Delhi their marksheet cum passing certificate wil be sent to the address given by the candidates in the application forms.
  • Results are already available in the DigiLocker of the students.
    The verification process wil start on 6th August 2024. The circular in this regard will be issued shortly.
