The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the registration process for Class 9 and Class 11 students who are appearing for the 2025 board exams. The registration window will remain open till October 16, 2024, at the official website – cbse.gov.in.
As per the official notification, only those students will be allowed to appear in classes 10, and 12 board exams in the 2025-26 session, whose names and details will be submitted by the respective schools. Schools are required to submit the student’s details on the portal.
The board has directed the principals and school authorities to fill in the names of the candidates, mother, father, or guardian names, names of subjects, and other required information correctly.

The correct information is also essential as the state governments award scholarships based on the financial status of the students.
Schools are also required to ensure that the students are not from any unauthorised or unaffiliated schools and attend classes regularly in their institutions and are not registered with some other school education boards along with the CBSE.
