CSIR-UGC NET December 2024 Result: How To Check

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to announce the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research- University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET) 2024 result soon on the official website. Candidates can check their results on the official website – csirnet.nta.ac.in.

The CSIR UGC NET exam for December 2024 was held at multiple centres across India. The exam makes candidates to become eligible for Junior Research Fellowships or teaching positions in universities and colleges.

To clear the exam, candidates must get the minimum marks set by the CSIR. The minimum percentage for the General, EWS and OBC candidates is 33 percent and for SC, ST and PwD candidates is 25%.

The exam ecompasses five subjects including Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmosphere, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences.

CSIR UGC NET December 2024 Exam Syllabus

Each subject syllabus is structured in three parts.

Part A is common to all subjects with General Aptitude, including topics like logical reasoning, graphical analysis, analytical and numerical ability, quantitative comparison, series formation and puzzles.

Part B comprises of Subject-specific conventional questions covering core topics of the respective subject.

Part C has higher order questions to test candidates knowledge about the scientific concepts and their application.

Step 3: Enter the login credentials – roll number and date of birth
