Foreign Medical Graduate Examination 2023 In December, Application Starts Tomorrow (image-pixabay)
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) registration dates. The registration will begin on October 16 and will end on October 25, 2023.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences will likely to conduct the FMGE 2023 exam in the month of December. Candidates willing to take the exam can register online at nbd.edu.in.
The medical examination commission conducts FMGE twice yearly for Indians and overseas applicants to get provisional or permanent registration from the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) to practice or study medicine in India.
The candidates who are required to have the eligibility certificate are not permitted to apply for Screening Test without the Eligibility Certificate issued by the National Medical Commission, as per the official notice.
The candidates who require the eligibility certificate should apply through National Medical Commission’s website.
FMGE 2023 exam is a screening test for all candidates who have obtained their medical degrees abroad and want to practice medicine in India. It is a license examination that grants foreign medical graduates permanent or provisional certificates.
How to apply:
- Visit the official website of NBE – nbe.edu.in
- Fill the user registration form to generate Application ID and password
- Complete the application form and upload photograph, scanned signature and other documents.
- Choose the preferred test city and pay the examination fee.
- Take a printout of the filled application form with transaction ID.
