The Erasmus Mundus scholarship offers masters degree programs, and joint PhD programme to students desired to get a global scholarly exposure. The scholarship programme is a collaboration of the European universities to support tuition fees, travel expenses and a monthly stipend.
Erasmus Mundus participants receive a significant monthly stipend of EUR 1000, during their academic pursuits. In addition, annual travel allowance of EUR 3000 and one-time installation cost of EUR 1000 further allow students to explore diverse culture and global perspectives.
Under the fully funded scholarship students’ study in at least 3 European countries at 3 universities and get a combined degree.
Erasmus accepts applications from all across the world irrespective of nationalities. In the academic year 2023, 2835 scholarships were granted worldwide, including 174 to Indian students.

- People with CGPA less than 3 has also been selected
- IELTs is required as an English proficiency (6.5 IELTS band is sufficient)
- Students who successfully complete their studies are eligible to apply for a Job Seeker Visa, which allows them to remain in Europe in search of employment.
