IGNOU Invites Applications For BEd, BSc Nursing, And PhD (image-pixabay)The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has invited applications for students who are interested to take admission to Bachelor of Education (BEd), Post Basic BSc Nursing (BScN(PB) and PhD. The admission will be taken by an entrance test.
Interested students can apply till December 31, 2023. The entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on January 7, 2024. The duration of the examination is as follows, two hours for BEd, two and a half hours for BSc Nursing and three hours for PhD candidates.
All registration process should be completed online and no hard copies will be accepted. The registration can be done through the University website- ignou.ac.in. The application fee is Rs 1000.
Candidates who are interested to apply for BEd should have at least 50 marks either in the bachelor’s degree or should have master’s degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Commerce/ Humanities. Alternatively, who have completed a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with a specialisation in Science and Mathematics can also apply for the same. There is no age limit for admission.
The BSc Nursing program will be taught in English and has a minimum duration of 3 years, with a maximum of 6 years.
How to Register
To apply for the entrance test, the applicants can follow these steps.
- Visit the official website of IGNOU at ignou.ac.in.
- Click on IGNOU Entrance Test 2024 link available on the home page.
- A new page will appear where candidates will have to click on the required degree link.
- Click on new registration and fill the necessary details.
- Once done, click on submit.
- Login to the account and fill the application form.
- Make the payment of application fees and click on submit.
- Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
