IIM Ahmedabad Opens New Campus In Dubai; To Offer 1-Year MBA Program
IIM Ahmedabad has announced to go global by opening its first overaseas branch at Dubai International Academic City. The IIMA Dubai branch will offer a one-Year full-time MBA programme, which is designed to meet the needs of an evolving economy.
“This is a major step in our journey toward becoming a global leader in Management Education”, IIMA said.

IIMA also plan to offer more programmes, including Open Enrolment and Customised Executive Education Programmes at Dubai campus.

Notably, the MoU was signed between IIM Ahmedabad Director Prof Bhasker Bharat and HE Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General, Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy PM and Minister of Defence of the UAE; and Shri PiyushGoyal , Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, GoI, were also present during the MoU signing ceremony.
Sheikh Hamdan was on his first two days official visit to India where he attended several events with ministers and officials signing MoUs to expand India-UAE ties.
