The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University, New Delhi, has started its application process for admission to Undergraduate (UG) and Post-graduate (PG) courses. Candidates can register online through the university”s official website by March 30, 2024. Online Application forms are available from February 20, 2024.
As per the official notification, the entrance test will commence on April 25 and admit cards will be issued from April 15 onwards. The prospectus of Jamia Millia Islamia PG/UG/PG Diploma/Diploma/Certificate for the admission session 2024-25 has been uploaded on the website. Application forms will be accepted only in an online mode no offline submission is acceptable, the university informed. The application fee ranges from 550 to 700 for various faculties and centers.
Candidates are asked to read the prospectus carefully before filling out the application form for admission to any program in Jamia. Notably, the current process for UG and PG courses for the Ph.D. program for the session 2024-25, a separate notification will be issued.
Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process
Applicants for undergraduate programs must have received at least a 60% on their Class 12 or comparable exam score. Candidates must hold at least a 60% undergraduate degree to be admitted to postgraduate studies.
Admission to all programs provided by Jamia Millia Islamia”s faculties and centers will be based on merit, which will be decided by the results of an entrance exam administered by JMI and, if relevant, followed by an interview and/or additional components.
For admission to JMI’s B. Tech Program candidates need to qualify JEE (main) exam 2024 conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) and fill out the JMI admission form. The rank list of B. Tech will be published based on the final rank of JEE (Main) 2024. A similar process goes for admission to the B.Arch program of JMI.
For B.D.S. program for JMI admission will be based on the rank of NEET Examination 2024 conducted by NTA. Candidates must select Jamia Millia Islamia with the proper reservation category on the NEET application form to be admitted to the B.D.S. program at JMI.
The JMI application correction window will be available on the university”s official website starting in April 2024. Applicants may update the dispensaries listed on their JMI 2024 application form that has already been submitted.
