NEET PG 2024 Exam Postponed: Check The New Date Here (image: Pixabay)
The exam date for National Eligibility Entrance Test (Postgraduate) or commonly know as NEET PG 2024 has been revised. As per the latest update from the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), exam will be conducted on July 7, 2024. Earlier the date was fixed on March 3. The candidates are advised to check the exact dates of the examination and further updates at the websites, nbe.edu.in, natboard.edu.in.
As per the new schedule, the cut-off date for the purpose of eligibility to appear in the NEET PG 2024 will be August 15, 2024.
“In supersession of NBEMS notice dated 09.11.2023 and pursuant to the receipt of NMC letter No. N-P018(20)/7/2023-PGMEB-NMC/000587 dated 03.01.2024, the conduct of NEET-PG 2024 examination which was earlier notified to be tentatively held on 3rd March 2024 stands rescheduled,” the official notice read.
NEET PG is conducted for medical aspirants for the various postgraduate courses relating to medicine. It replaced All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE) conducted earlier. The exam is conducted online comprising 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). The NEET is held in 162 test centres across the country. National Board of Examinations, an autonomous organisation of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare undertakes NEET PG while the counselling and seat allotment is supervised by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
