
NBEMS Cancels NEET PG Results Of 22 Candidates; Delays Counselling
The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has cancelled the NEET PG results of 22 candidates after the raised allegations and charges of malpractice in exams conducted from 2021 to 2025. Out of the total 22 candidates, 13 are from the NEET PG 2025 session.
The decision was taken by the NBEMS Examination Ethics Committee after a thorough investigation into malpractice across multiple exam cycles. The ethics committee declared a total of 21 candidates guilty of using unfair means, and one candidate was declared disqualified following the Karnataka High Court’s ruling.

The board has issued a warning against using the cancelled scorecards or results for employment, admission, registration, or enrolment in PG courses.
NBEMS has denied taking any responsibility for misused results, for any jobs, admission, or registrations obtained using the invalidated NEET PG results.
Out of the 22 candidates whose results are annulled, 13 qualified for the NEET PG 2025, three appeared in 2024, four in 2023, and one in 2022 and 2021 each.
Meanwhile, NEET PG 2025 qualified candidates are waiting for the counselling for MD, MS, and PG Diploma programs. Nearly 1,28,116 students qualified for the NEET PG 2025 exam, and counselling is still pending.

Notably, delays are due to the ongoing legal cases, which include petitions demanding the release of full question papers and answer keys, considering the exam transparency.
Supreme Court has denied to put stay on the NEET PG 2025 counselling and directed NBEMS to comply with the transparency and candidates concerns in its last hearing.
