Navodaya Vidyalaya LEST Registration Last Date For Classes 9,11 Extends To Nov 26
The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the application deadline for the Lateral Entry Selection Test (LEST) 2025 for admission to classes 9 and 11. Candidates can apply till November 26, 2024, through the official website – navodaya.gov.in. Earlier, the registration deadline was November 19, 2024. The NVS LEST 2025 is scheduled for February 8, 2025.
As per the information on the official website, “The last date for submission of online application for classes IX & XI Lateral Entry Selection Test 2025 has been extended up to 26.11.2024. The online correction window will remain open on 27.11.2024 & 28.11.2024 The correction in data of registered candidates for classes IX & XI LEST 2025 is permitted only in gender (Male/Female/Transgender), category (General/OBC/SC/ST), Area (Rural/Urban) & Disability.

JNVST LEST Exam Pattern for classes 9 and 11
For class 9, the test will consist of 100 objective-type questions with subjects including English (15 questions), Hindi (15 questions), Mathematics (35 questions), and General Science (35 questions). Each question carries 1 mark. The test duration will be two hours and thirty minutes and an additional 50 minutes will be given to Divyang students.
Similarly, for class 11 the test includes questions on Mental Ability, English, Science, Social Science, and Mathematics. Each section carries 20 questions for 20 marks. The total exam duration is 2 hours with 50 extra minutes for Divyang students.

JNVST Admission 2025: How to Register
Step 1: Go to the official website – navodaya.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the link ‘Click here to apply for class IX LEST 2025’ and ‘Click here to apply for Class XI LEST 2025’
Step 3: Register and proceed to fill in the application
Step 4: Pay the registration fee and submit your application
Step 5: Download and take the printout of the application form for further use
