New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE, the national level secondary and higher secondary examination conducting agency, has released the date sheet or the time table for the class 10 and class 12 examinations for the academic year. According to the Board, CBSE date sheet has been prepared by avoiding more than 40,000 subject combinations to ensure that no two subjects’ examinations offered by a student fall on the same date.
The Class 10 examinations will begin with English on February 15 and will end with Computer Applications, Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence papers on March 18. Meanwhile, the Class 12 examinations will begin with Entrepreneurship paper on February and will conclude on April 4 with Psychology.
When declaring the results of examinations 2024, the CBSE had announced that the examinations of both Class 10 and 12 in 2025 will commence from February 15. Accordingly, the Board had asked the schools to submit the list of candidates for classes 10 and 12. Based on the subjects offered by the students in the list of candidates, CBSE has now prepared the date sheet or time table for the examinations scheduled from February 15, 2025.
While preparing the CBSE date sheet, the board has made sure that a sufficient gap has been given between two subjects generally offered by a student in both classes. It has also considered the date of conduct of entrance examinations meant for the students of Class 12 and efforts have been made to complete the examinations much before the entrance examinations. The Board has said this will help the students in better time management for both Board and entrance examinations.
