CBSE Class 12 Exams Tentative Date Sheet Out: Here’s The Complete List

New Delhi, 24 September 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has unveiled the tentative date sheet for the Class 12 Senior School Certificate Examinations for 2026. Released on 24 September 2025, the main exams will take place from 17 February to 6 April 2026, with supplementary exams extending to 15 July 2026. This schedule caters to around 18 lakh students across 204 subjects in India and 26 international centres. The board has also released Class 10 date sheet today.

Notable dates are: 17 February 2026 for Biotechnology, 18 February 2026 for Entrepreneurship, 19 February 2026 for Physical Education, 20 February 2026 for Bharatanatyam Dance and Cost Accounting, 21 February 2026 for Physics, 23 February 2026 for Business Studies, 24 February 2026 for Psychology, 25 February 2026 for Automotive, 26 February 2026 for Geography, 27 February 2026 for Graphics, 28 February 2026 for Chemistry, 2 March 2026 for Urdu Elective, 3 March 2026 for Carnatic Music Mel Ins, 4 March 2026 for Legal Studies, 5 March 2026 for Mass Media Studies, 6 March 2026 for Hindustani Music Mel Ins, 7 March 2026 for Yoga, 9 March 2026 for Mathematics, 10 March 2026 for Food Production, 11 March 2026 for Hindustani Music Vocal, 12 March 2026 for English Elective, 13 March 2026 for Tourism, 14 March 2026 for Home Science, 16 March 2026 for Hindi Elective, 17 March 2026 for Punjabi and Bengali, 18 March 2026 for Economics, 19 March 2026 for Physical Activity Trainer, 20 March 2026 for Marketing, 23 March 2026 for Political Science, 24 March 2026 for Beauty & Wellness, 25 March 2026 for Informatics Practices, 26 March 2026 for Biology, 28 March 2026 for Accountancy, 30 March 2026 for History, 1 April 2026 for Financial Market Management, 2 April 2026 for National Cadet Corps, 4 April 2026 for Sociology, and 6 April 2026 for Knowledge Tradition & Practices of India.

“In 2026, approximately 45 lakh candidates are expected to appear in 204 subjects across Classes X and XII from India and 26 countries abroad. Alongside the conduct of examinations, several other activities such as practical, evaluation, and post-result
processes will be undertaken to ensure timely declaration of results,” a CBSE statement said.
