
CBSE Class 10 Exams Tentative Date Sheet Out: Here’s The Complete Time Table
New Delhi, 24 September 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the tentative date sheet for the Class 10 Secondary School Examinations for 2026. Announced on 24 September 2025, the exams are scheduled to commence on 17 February 2026 and run until 15 July 2026, including main and supplementary sessions. This provisional timetable, covering 104 subjects for approximately 20 lakh candidates across India and 26 countries, aims to assist students, teachers, and schools in planning effectively. The board has also released Class 12 date sheet.
Key dates include: 17 February 2026 for Mathematics Standard and Basic, 18 February 2026 for subjects like Retail and Automotive, 20 February 2026 for Beauty & Wellness, 21 February 2026 for English (Communicative and Language & Literature), 23 February 2026 for French, 24 February 2026 for Urdu Course-A and Bengali, 25 February 2026 for Science, 26 February 2026 for Home Science, 27 February 2026 for Computer Applications, 28 February 2026 for Sanskrit, 2 March 2026 for Hindi Course-A and B, 3 March 2026 for Tibetan and German, 5 March 2026 for Painting, 6 March 2026 for Sindhi and Odia, 7 March 2026 for Social Science, 9 March 2026 for Telugu and Russian, and 10 March 2026 for Thai. Supplementary exams are tentatively set from 15 May to 29 May 2026, covering subjects like Mathematics, Science, and various languages.

“In 2026, approximately 45 lakh candidates are expected to appear in 204 subjects across Classes X and XII from India and 26 countries abroad. Alongside the conduct of examinations, several other activities such as practical, evaluation, and post-result
processes will be undertaken to ensure timely declaration of results,” a CBSE statement said.
