NEET PG 2025 On August 3 In A Single Shift; Confirms NBEMS
The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the revised schedule for NEET PG 2025 and confirmed the exam to be held on August 3, 2025. The decision follows the Supreme Court’s directive to conduct the exam in a single shift format. Earlier, the NEET PG 2025 exam was to be held on June 15, 2025, in a two-shift format.
A Supreme Court bench comprising Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra and Augustine George Masih directed NBEMS to hold the NEET PG exam in a single shift to ensure a level playing field for the candidates.
NBEMS cited infrastructural and logistical challenges, including the need for 900 additional test centres, Wi-Fi, and computer security. However, the court remained firm, stating that a technologically sound country like India must be able to accommodate such demands.
