NEET PG 2025 Marks Discrepancy; PIL Filed In Supreme Court
A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed in the Supreme Court regarding the alleged discrepancies in the NEET PG 2025 results. Candidates are demanding the release of the official answer key and recorded responses to ensure accountability from NBE/NBEMS.
Notably, NBEMS has released the NEET PG 2025 results of the exam held on August 3. The results were released on August 19, 2025. However, the results are now out, but aspirants seem dissatisfied with the results, as many candidates have reportedly observed discrepancies ranging from 50 to 200 marks in their scorecards issued by the examination board.
The petitioners are qualified doctors who allege that the new disclosure mechanism for answer keys is opaque, unintelligible, and incapable of meaningful verification. The main demand of the aspirants is not to re-evaluate the answer sheets but to the manner and format of disclosure.
The plea demanded that the disclosure must include 1. questions in the order actually attempted 2. the candidate’s responses 3. the official correct answers 4. the marks awarded.
