The Uttar Pradesh govt under Yogi Adityanath has decided to close over 27,000 basic schools circulating on the news channels and other social media platforms. As per the information available, the Yogi govt had decided to close down such schools where the student strength is below 50. Now, the UP Basic Education Department has issued a statement and called the news baseless and misleading.
