
NTA Assures JEE Main Candidates Of Answer Key Tranparency
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially responded to the candidates concerns regarding discrepancies in the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 response sheets and provisional answer key. Reportedly, several candidates and coaching experts identified issues of blank responses, potential inaccurate solution and incorrectly recorded answers in the April session’s provisional answer key.
NTA has clarified to maintain a fair and transparent examination and evalutation process. The testing agency issued a clarification on the social media ‘X’. “NTA has always followed a transparent examination process, which allows candidates to view their recorded responses as soon as the provisional answer keys are released. The NTA considers every challenge to the provisional Answer Key with utmost seriousness”, NTA said.

To remove the candidates apprehensions about the issues in the provisional answer key, NTA said that as regards as JEE(Main) Session-II, the answer keys, uploaded are only provisional. The Final Answer Keys have not been published so far for JEE (Main) Session-II. The Score is determined by only the final Answer Key.
Drawing conclusions based on the provisional answer keys is not desirable.
NTA also advised candidates to not be misled by the reports that create unnecessary doubt and anxiety.
JEE (Main) Session-II result will be prepared once the final answer key is prepared and out. The final answer key is prepared by the subject experts after considering the challenges raised by the candidates to the provisional answer keys.
