The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has announced Sankranti holidays for Intermediate colleges across the state. The holidays will start on Saturday, January 11, and continue till Thursday, January 16. Reportedly, the classes will resume on Friday, January 17.
The holiday directive applies to all junior colleges, including government, private, aided, unaided, residential, social welfare, tribal welfare, model schools, BC welfare institutions, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas, and composite degree colleges offereing the two-year Intermediate course.

The Board instructed college principals and management especially of private unaided institutions, to adhere strictly to the holiday schedule and refrain from conducting classes during the break. The Secretary of the Board warned of severe penalties, includings disaffiliation for non-compliance.
Institutions are urged to comply with the orders and facilitate a seamless return to classes after the festivites.

Notably, the Telangana Board has also released the tentative timetable for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) 2025. Scheduled to begin on March 5 and conclude on March 25, these exams will cover both 1st-year and 2nd-year students across General and Vocational streams, including MPC, BiPC, MEC and Vocational courses.
While the TS 10th exams 2025 will be held between March 21 and April 4, 2025. The BIE Telangana will release the TS SSC hall ticket in the first week of March 2025.
