UGC-NET December 2024 Examination Scheduled On Jan 15 Gets Postponed
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the UGC-NET December 2024 exam scheduled on January 15, 2025, on account of Pongal, Makar Sankranti, and other festivals on January 15, 2025. However, no new date for the examination has been announced by the NTA.
The NTA will conduct UGC-NET December 2024 for 85 subjects in CBT mode from January 3, 2025, to January 16, 2025.

The notice said, “In the interest of aspirants, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to postpone the UGC-NET December 2024 Exam Scheduled on January 15, 2025 only. The New date of the exam will announce later”.
The examination scheduled on January 16, 2025, will be conducted as earlier scheduled.

The UGC-NET December 2024 exam is conducted to (i) award the Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor, (ii) appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D., and (iii) admission to Ph.D. only.
