The National Testing Agency, (NTA) has announced UGC NET June re-exam results today, (October 17). The exams were conducted between August 21 and September 4 in various cities across the country. Over nine lakh candidates took the exam. The exam body has announced the result along with the subject-wise cut-offs.

As per the NTA, a total of 4,970 candidates have qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), while 53,694 qualified for Assistant Professor only and 1,12,070 for PhD admissions only.

The reservation in the result include 15 per cent of the seats for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates, 7.5 per cent of seats Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, 27 per cent of the seats for Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) candidates as per the Central List, 10 per cent of the seats for General-Economically Weaker Sections (General- EWS) candidates and 5 per cent of the seats in the above mentioned categories for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) with 40 per cent or more disability.
