UPSC Civil Services Exam 2024 Admit Card At upsc.gov.in: Download Hall Ticket And Other Details

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) expects to release the Civil Services 2024 Admit Cards for the preliminary examination in the coming week. Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2024 will be conducted on June 16, 2024, across the country.  Once the admit cards are released on the UPSC’s official website – upsc.gov.in, candidates can download them using login credentials.

UPSC Civil Services Examination is going to be conducted for a total of 1056 vacancies in the central services and departments including IAS, IPS, and IFS. Out of the total vacancies 40 seats are reserved for the persons with benchmark disability category.

Those who qualify for the UPSC CSE Prelims examination appear for the next round which Mains Examination. The main exam comprises – A Written exam and a Personality Test (Interview).

The UPSC CSE preliminary exam will be objective type and held in two sessions. The Preliminary exam has two papers, Paper 1 (General Awareness) and Paper 2 (CSAT). The total time duration for each paper is 2 hours. Paper 1, which is general awareness carries 100 questions of 2 marks each, and Paper 2, the CSAT exam consists of 80 Questions and is qualifying in nature. To qualify the paper 2, a candidate has to secure at least 33 percent marks. The maximum mark is 400.

Notably, the examination carries negative marking and 1/4th mark is deducted for every wrong answer.

UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024 Admit Card: How to download it 

Step 1: Go to the UPSC official website at upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the link UPSC Admit Card 2024 available on the home page.

Step 3: Enter the login credentials – Registration Number and Date of Birth

Step 4: Click on submit and the admit card will be displayed.

Step 5: Check the admit card carefully, Download and Save or Print Out.
