'Why NEET PG Counselling Is Delayed?'; Some Candidates Demand Boycott

It has been nearly a month now since the NEET PG 2025 results were announced by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS); however, candidates are still waiting for the counselling to get started. The NBEMS, in its official release, mentioned that the counselling will start on or after September 5, 2025.

Notably, the Supreme Court has also denied the pleas seeking a stay on the counselling for the NEET PG 2025 exam. Whereas the court asked NBEMS to ensure transparency, and deferred the matter regarding the answer key hearing for next week.

Candidates are still waiting for the clarification and release of the answer key by the NBEMS, with the detailed questions with their respective IDs and the answers, as thousands of candidates reportedly raised concerns of mark-related discrepancies.

The delays in the release of the answer key or any counselling-related delays by the NBEMS have caused the emergence of speculations among the qualified candidates. One doctor wrote on X about the fishiness of the matter.

Whereas, some aggrieved candidates who faced score-related discrepancies have urged the Supreme Court to intervene in stopping the NEET PG 2025 counseling.

Some candidates are demanding an independent probe and stopping the counselling as they are wondering about the marks-related errors.

Another user wrote to ensure the accountability of the NBEMS and urged to boycott of the counselling till transparency is ensured.

However, no statement or notice has been released by the NBEMS in this regard so far, making the candidates more anxious about the transparency and the foul play in the NEET PG 2025 examination process.
