The viral audio note claimed that Supriya Sule demanded the encashment of Bitcoins to generate funds for elections. However, tech experts have debunked this claim, stating that the audio is likely AI-generated content.
Following this, political analyst Tehseen Poonawalla said, “Honestly BJP, you need better AI clips. That’s not even her voice or accent! Please guys under the flagship Digital India you could not get one person to do a decent job! Terrible AI quality!!.”

Supriya Sule has denied allegations made by the BJP that she was involved in illegal Bitcoin transactions to influence the ongoing Maharashtra Assembly Election.
Sule dismissed the accusations, saying “Not my voice.” All these voice notes and messages are fake”. This came after BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi played audio clips at a press conference, claiming that Sule and Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole were conspiring with a former police commissioner and a dealer to indulge in illegal transactions.
Later, Sule filed a criminal complaint with the Election Commission of India and the Cyber Crime Department, refuting the allegations.
Familiar tactics of spreading false information to manipulate the righteous voters are being resorted to, a night before the polling day. We have filed a criminal complaint to the Hon’ble ECI & the Cybercrime department against the fake allegations made of bitcoin… pic.twitter.com/g8Selv1DFk

The BJP alleged that the illegal transactions were aimed at swaying the election outcome in favour of the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). However, now the claim has been debunked saying that it is created by training a voice conversion model using multiple voice samples of her speeches.
