Bagodar Election Result 2024: Nagendra Mahto Of BJP Running Ahead Of CPI Candidate

The BJP candidate Nagendra Mahto was running ahead of CPI (Marxist-Leninist) candidate Vinod Kumar Singh and secured victory in the Bagodar Assembly constituency with 32617 votes.

A total of 11 candidates were in the election fray for the Bagodar Assembly seat in the 2024 Jharkhand Assembly election. In the 2024 Jharkhand Assembly election, the people of Bagodar voted on November 20, 2024, and the counting of votes is took place on November 23, 2024. There were a total of 3,82,813 registered voters for the 2024 Assembly election in Bagodar Assembly constituency. Out of the total 1,95,967 were male, 1,86,845 female and 1 of the third gender.

In the 2019 Jharkhand Assembly elections,  CPI(ML)(L) candidate Vinod Kumar Singh won the Bagodar seat defeating Nagendra Mahto of BJP by a margin of 14,545 (6.84%) votes cast for the seat. CPI(ML)(L) had a vote share of 46.15% in 2019 in this seat.

In the 2014 Jharkhand Assembly elections, BJP candidate Nagendra Mahto won this seat defeating Vinod Kumar Singh of CPIMLL with a margin of 4,339 (2.26%) votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 38.97% in 2014 on this seat.

In the Jharkhand Assembly elections 2009, Vinod Kumar Singh of CPIMLL won on this seat defeating Nagendra Mahto of JVM by a margin of 6,718 (4.51%) votes cast for the seat. CPIMLL had a vote share of 36.55% in 2009 on this seat.
