As part of the ongoing Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, which is currently in the Uttar Pradesh-leg, Indian National Congress leader Rahul Gandhi engaged in an interaction with a group of IT and consultancy professionals on Saturday. Professionals hailing from esteemed companies such as Google, KPMG, and Deloitte convened with Mr. Gandhi after traveling from various states across the country to participate in the Yatra.
During the 45-minute discussion, a range of crucial topics took center stage, including India”s AI capabilities, the imperative of fostering a democratic production economy to generate employment opportunities, and policy and regulatory challenges confronting the technology industry.
The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, translating to “India Unity and Justice March,” commenced on January 14, 2024, from Thoubal in Manipur and is slated to conclude on March 20, 2024, in Mumbai, traversing the east-west expanse of India. This strategic campaign, spearheaded by Rahul Gandhi, serves as a platform for the Indian National Congress to engage with voters across the nation, in preparation for the forthcoming national elections.
Unlike its predecessor, the Bharat Jodo Yatra, this edition incorporates a hybrid approach, combining both foot marches and bus travel, owing to time constraints imposed by the impending general elections.
