Hathua Assembly Results 2025: A Tough Electoral Fight Between JDU And RJD

The major contenders in Hathua Assembly include Ramsewak Singh (JD(U), Rajesh Kumar Singh (RJD), Shabanm Khatun from the BSP, Sanjay Kumar Suman from the JSP, and Indrajit Gupt Jyotishkar representing the AAP. Voting in Hathua took place in 06-11-2025 under Phase 1.

Counting of votes has begun in Bihar’s Hathua. Initial trends show that Ramsewak Singh of JD(U) is leading.

Hathua is an assembly constituency in Gopalganj district in the Indian state of Bihar. In 2020, Rajesh Kumar Singh Kushwaha of Rashtriya Janata Dal defeated Ramsewak Singh Kushwaha of Janata Dal (United) to emerge victorious.

In the last Assembly Election held in 2020, Rajesh Kumar Singh from the RJD won the Hathua seat with 57.24% of the total votes polled. The victory margin was 86731 votes over Ramsewak Singh of the JD(U).
