Congress leader and former Union minister Pradeep Jain Aditya, addressing a press conference on Tuesday, said that if his party come to power in Madhya Pradesh, it will forgo the fees asked for the government job recruitment exams in the state.

Mr Aditya stated that over one crore youth in Madhya Pradesh are unemployed, and among them only 40 lakh registered with the government.

He then added that Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led BJP government has procured more than Rs 100 crores from the poor job aspirants as fees in the past 10 years. Congress leader also cited that in the past 18 years, 17,298 unemployed youths have committed suicide.

Not only the fees for the government job recruitment exams will be totally waived, but also the results of the recruitment exams, which have been withheld “deliberately,” will be announced, former minister said. Mr Aditya then said that for the government jobs, Congress will conduct offline exams, instead of online.

Congress leader claimed that scams in recruitment exams, withholding of results, and exam paper leak are the main reasons for unemployment in the state.
