Puthuppally Results Today; Counting From 8 am

Kerala: The results of high-stakes Puthuppally bypoll results will be declared today. The counting will be held at Baselius College auditorium, Kottayam district, at 8 am.

Both the fronts, Kerala”s Congress-led United Democratic Front or UDF and CPM-led Left Democratic Front or LDF, ran a bitter campaign that culminated in the voting on September 5. National Democratic Front or NDA is also in the fray.

The seat fell vacant after the demise of Congress stalwart and former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.

The Congress led opposition has fielded Oommen Chandy’s son, Chandy Oomen against DYFI leader Jaick C, candidate of CPI(M). Kottayam district president G.Lijin Lal is the BJP candidate.

The results will be available at results.eci.gov.in and the website will provide trends from 8 am. Apart from the website, the results can be accessed through Election Commission”s Voter Helpline and as well as the apps available both on Google Play Store and Apple Store.
