Rajasthan Assembly Elections Result: Congress's Rajendra Pareek Wins Sikar Constituency

Congress candidate Rajendra Pareek defeated Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Ratanlal Jaldhari. Sikar witnessed a tough fight between BJP and Congress. Rajendra Pareek polled 97161 votes while BJP nominee came second with 67123 votes. Independent candidate Tarachand Dhayal who came third has garnered 40782 votes.

The elections to  the Rajasthan State Assembly was held on November 25, 2023 for 199 seats.
In the last Assembly elections also Rajendra Pareek won the election with 46976 votes and defeated BJP”s Mahesh Sharma who secured only 39210 votes. The constituency had 262329 voters then. In 2003 Assembly elections, BJP nominee defeated Congress candidate,  where former polled 57557 votes and latter secured 55650 votes. At that time, total electors were 198406.

Along with Rajasthan, the Assembly elections were held in four other states including Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram.
