Rajasthan Assembly Results: Dr Shailesh Singh Wins Deeg Kumher Assembly

BJP candidate Dr.Shailesh Singh won by defeating Indian National Congress (INC) candidate Vishvendra Singh.  Deeg Kumher assembly witnessed a tough fight between BJP and Congress. Shailesh Singh secured 89,063 votes while INC came second with 81,168 votes. BSP candidate Hariom Sharma who came third secured 4,487 votes.

The Rajasthan State Assembly election was held on November 25, 2023 for 199 seats. Deeg Kumher is a legislative assembly constituency in Rajasthan.

The total valid vote of 2013 was 1,48,800. INC won the election and Bharatiya Janata Party stood second with 6,02,545 votes, he lost by 11,162 votes.

BJP won the 2018 assembly elections. The total number of valid votes was 1,19,762. Dr Deeh Kumher had a total vote percentage of 43.98%.

In 2008 assembly elections, Dr Digamber Singh defeated Congress’s Vishvendra Singh. Digambar secured 52,669 votes while Vishvendra secured 49,145 votes. BSP’s Amar Singh came third with 14,899 votes.

In 2008, Vishvendra singh stood second with total 49,145 votes. Indian National Congress candidate Vishvendra Singh lost by 3524 votes. Net Ram of Bharatiya Bahujan Party (BHBP) came fourth with 823 votes and a total voting percentage of 0.69%.

Overall, according to the latest reports, out of the total 199 seats, BJP won in 115 seats and INC is in second with 66 seats. Along with Rajasthan, the assembly elections were held in four other states including Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram. The results of the three states was announced on December 3 except for Mizoram.
