Samstipur Election Result 2025: 3 Times RJD MLA Akhtarul Islam Trails Behind JDU Ashwamedh Devi
JDU Ashwamedh Devi is leading on the Samastipur seat in the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, leaving Akhtarul Islam Shaheen of RJD with over 14415 votes as per the Election Commission of India’s predictions.
In 2020, Samastipur legislative assembly constituency had total 279144 electors. Total number of valid vote was 166240. Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate Akhtarul Islam Shahin won and became MLA from this seat. He secured total 68507 votes. Janata Dal (united) candidate Ashwamedh Devi stood second with total 63793 votes. She lost by 4714 votes.
In 2015, Samastipur legislative assembly constituency had total 246709 electors. Total number of valid vote was 151218. Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate Akhtarul Islam Shaheen won and became MLA from this seat. He secured total 82508 votes. Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Renu Kumari stood second with total 51428 votes. She lost by 31080 votes.
