This Is Congress Party’s Reason For Not Participating In Exit Polls Discussions: “We Do Not See…”

The Indian National Congress has announced its decision to abstain from participating in exit poll discussions scheduled to be broadcast on various news channels after the completion of the 7th phase of elections tomorrow.

According to a statement released by the party, Congress emphasised that the voters have already cast their votes and their verdict is now secured. The party asserted that there is no need to engage in speculation and media-driven debates for TRP purposes before the official results are announced on June 4th.

Congress further clarified that its members will not take part in any debates to exit polls. The party highlighted that the primary objective of any debate should be to inform the public. They assured that they will be ready and willing to engage in meaningful discussions starting from June 4th, once the actual results are available.

“Voters have cast their votes and their verdict has been secured. The results will be out on 4th June. Prior to that, we do not see any reason to indulge in speculation and slugfest for TRP. The Indian National Congress will not participate in the debates on Exit Polls. The purpose of any debate should be to inform the people. We will happily partake in debates from 4th June onwards,” the party statement said.
