“Vote Keeping Our Country’s Best Interests In Mind”: Shah Rukh Khan

The business capital is set to vote for the general elections on Monday, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan appealed to the public to carry out their duty and “to vote keeping our country’s best interests in mind.”

“As responsible Indian citizens we must exercise our right to vote this Monday in Maharashtra. Let’s carry out our duty as Indians and vote keeping our country’s best interests in mind. Go forth Promote, our right to Vote,” Shah Rukh wrote on X.

 

Few days back, Salman Khan and R Madhavan also came forward urging people to cast their votes. Out of the total 48 constituencies in Maharashtra, 13 including Dhule, Dindori, Nashik, Kalyan, Palghar, Bhiwandi, Thane, Mumbai North, Mumbai North-West, Mumbai North-East, Mumbai North-Central, Mumbai South-Central, and Mumbai South will vote on May 20.

On work front, “King Khan” will next appear in King along with his daughter Suhana Khan. The film is a debut work of the father-daughter duo. Reportedly, the film chronicles a unique dynamic between the duo and the action workshops are currently underway. King is a fast-paced action thriller chronicling the journey of mentor and disciple, testing their survival skills against all the odds. Shah Rukh Khan plays the role of the mentor and Suhana plays the disciple part.

The film is directed by Sujoy Ghosh. It is produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand, under their respective banners – Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix.
