Shah Rukh Khan To Invest 200 Crore On 'King', The Film With Suhana Khan? (image@suhanakhan2)

Shah Rukh Khan and daughter Suhana Khan will share screen in Sujoy Ghosh directorial, King. The film will be the first work of Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan together and is slated for a tentative 2025 release. Latest reports on the developments of the film suggest that Shah Rukh Khan, under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment, will invest a whopping 200 crore for the film. The star did not confirm on the speculations yet.

It is said that King will have a high-octane action scenes worked on by Sidharth Anand. The film is in its pre-production stage going for detailed preparations. As per Bollywood Hungama, King is positioned as a revolutionary action extravaganza. It is believed that Siddharth Anand is teaming up with international stunt coordinators for the film. The report said that, Siddharth is intending to create a global action thriller with Khan and is planning to combine real action with VFX with collaboration of the foreign stunt experts.

Earlier Pinkvilla reported that Suhana Khan has already started prep work for the movie. “The training is happening at Mannat and she is accompanied by her father, Shah Rukh Khan too in certain practice session. Trainers of international repute are coming together to train Suhana and SRK, as King will explore a slightly raw form of actions”, said the sources to Pinkvilla.

However, another report from FirstPost suggested that Shah Rukh Khan had apparently withdrawn from King. The reason behind the star’s decision was cited as his consideration of preventing his daughter from the burden of unfavourable comparison with himself, who enjoys a massive fan following. It is to note that none pf the speculations and theories were confirmed by both the Khans.
