The makers of the much-awaited Malayalam film Patriot have released a new romantic track titled “Kaattu Thottapol” today, and the melody is already winning hearts.

The song, which dropped today, features actors Kunchacko Boban and Darshana Rajendran in a gentle and emotional romantic sequence. Their on-screen chemistry, combined with the calm visual setting and soft musical arrangement, gives the track a soothing and refreshing feel.

“Kaattu Thottapol” is composed and arranged by acclaimed musician Sushin Shyam, who is known for delivering atmospheric and emotionally rich soundtracks in Malayalam cinema.

The song is sung by iSai and Kapil Kapilan, whose voices blend smoothly to create a calm, romantic mood. The lyrics are penned by celebrated poet and lyricist Anwar Ali.

While Patriot is primarily an espionage thriller, the newly released song brings a softer emotional layer to the film.

The film is described as a gripping espionage thriller revolving around a covert surveillance operation that eventually develops into a national security crisis. The story reportedly follows a retired officer who gets drawn back into action to expose a dangerous network.
