South Indian superstar Allu Arjun’s wax statue will be unveiled later this year at the Madame Tussauds Dubai, making him the first actor from the Telugu industry to get one such. Madame Tussauds Dubai is the inaugural branch of the wax-work museum in the Middle East.

The Middle East museum holds over 60 life-like wax figures of eminent personalities encompassing various field of works including music, acting, sports, and leadership. It is situated on Bluewaters Island in Dubai and was opened in 2021.

Allu Arjun, one of the high-paid pan-Indian actor, is the first to get a wax statue in Madame Tussauds Dubai from the Telugu film fraternity. The unveiling of the model is scheduled for later this year.

‘’One and only Allu Arjun is all set to come face to face with his wax twin at Madame Tussauds Dubai later this year’’, disclosed the Madame Tussauds Dubai through their official social media handles. They shared a video in which the actor is seen reached for the measurements.

‘’In a way, this is a very surreal experience for me because, as a kid when I went to Madame Tussauds, I would never imagine that I would see myself as a wax figure at Madame Tussauds’’, he responds in the snippet.

Allu Arjun is the recent recipient of India National Film Awards for his performance in the 2021 released Pushpa 1: The Rise, a Sukumar directorial. The movie became a blockbuster across India and earned the South Indian star a pan Indian reach.

Pushpa 1, released in Telugu language with dubbed versions in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada hit the theatres when most of the films were not doing well at the box office impacted by Covid-19 pandemic.

The most anticipated second chapter, Pushpa The Rule will thrash the theatre screens from August 15, 2024. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahad Faasil in important roles.

Allu Arjun, who won six Filmfare awards so far is also famous for his incredible dancing skills. “National Award winner; the first Telugu Actor in 69 years to win this award and icon of dance moves’’, Madame described the actor.

The museum has wax statues of Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Narendra Modi from India.
