‘Chandler Bing’ Mathew Perry Dies At 54

Mathew Perry known by his character ‘Chandler Bing’ from Friends series passed died at the age of 54 on Saturday at his Los Angeles residence.

His surprise departure has left all fans and entertainment World in mourning. Initial reports have claimed that he died of apparent drowning in his jacuzzi tub. His last Instagram post in jacuzzi tub has gone viral soon after his death.

Witty and brutally honest jokes were hallmark of the charm of the ‘Friends’ star. Mathew significantly contributed to his character in ‘Friends’ by writing many of Chandler’s lines. Though he has done a number of American projects but his performance as Chandler remains iconic.

The official ‘Friends’ Instagram account posted that it was devastated to learn of Perry’s death. “He was a true gift to us all”, the post read.

Mathew Perry got on the show ‘Friends’ when he was 24. Despite his success, Mathew struggled with addictions behind the scene and sought treatment in 1997 and 2001.

The Friends cast always remained as close friends just like the way they were telecasted. Though the distances parted them, they always remained as a close, tight-knit and loving group.

In the 90’s sitcom, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Lisa Kudrow co-starred with Mathew Perry. He has also received a Primetime Emmy nomination for his wonderful performance in the sitcom.

Mathew Perry published his book ‘Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing: A Memoir’ in 2022.

Perry has died leaving the memories he created on his sitcom Friends which will remain etched to the hearts of his fans forever. Chandler Bing will always remain as the Friend we all need.
